Focus on Children Now is proud to announce its third Humanitarian Aid Shipment

Los Angeles, July 2009 – On July 2nd, Focus on Children Now (FCN) effected its third shipment of 20' container as part of FCN's Humanitarian Aid Program. With the kind donations of supporters and help of its generous volunteers, the container contained over 25,000 pieces of articles including gently used clothing, new shoes, bedding, school supplies, new toys, wheel chair, and hygiene products for children and adults. 263 boxes containing these articles were shipped.

The boxes will be distributed to schools, orphanages, soup kitchens, refugee camps, hospitals, American Peace Corps Volunteers and many more deserving individuals and families.

By each person receiving 5 articles, this shipment will reach over 5,000 disadvantaged children and their families.

About Humanitarian Aid Program

Every month, FCN dispatches to and distributes thousands of pieces of new and quality used clothing to disadvantaged children and their families. The organization also sends care packages containing shoes, toys, school supplies and bedding to numerous nursing homes, special schools, soup kitchens and orphanages. FCN’s target is to collect, sort, pack and distribute over 100,000 pieces of articles in 2009 as part of their Humanitarian Aid Program.
