Sis Kindergarten Playground

The project took place in the village of Sis, located in the Masis community of the Ararat region, approximately 25 kilometers from Yerevan. The village has a population of 1,718 people and 532 households. Most residents are engaged in agriculture (around 790 individuals), while about 250 residents work in other sectors.

Sis has one school with 217 students, and a kindergarten attended by 60 children, operating 12 months a year with a heating system in place.

In 2022, with the support of Focus on Children Now (FCN), the kindergarten was able to expand, adding two new groups and welcoming 30 additional children. In 2023, the community requested assistance in building a playground, to ensure that the children can grow up active, healthy, and strong while enjoying a safe outdoor space for play and development.
