Karmirgyugh (Կարմիրգյուղ) village is a major village located in the Gegharkounik Province of Armenia. The village was founded in 1831 by emigrants from Beyazid. It has two old churches of St. Astvatsatsin and St. Grigor, in ruins with khachkars, and was the discovery site of a boundary stone of King Artashes, inscribed in Aramaic.

Home to 6,600 residents with 1,280 households, the villagers’ main source of income is agriculture and livestock. The village has two schools (1-12 grade) with a total of 850 students. The one kindergarten is home to 120 children.

The kindergarten is now in good physical condition with new beds (donated by Focus on Children Now) and new tables and chairs (donated by ASF), and a  kindergarten, donated by one of our lovely sponsors so that the children can play safely, remain active, and grow up healthy.
