A Playground for Margahovit Kindergarten

 Margahovit (Armenian: Մարգահովիտ), is a major village in the Lori Province of Armenia. It is located 120 km from the capital Yerevan. The economy of the village is based on agriculture and livestock. With an estimated population of 3,771, the village of Margahovit has one school (1-12 grade) with 361 students and one kindergarten with 60 children. The kindergarten has been renovated and fully furnished with help from the community, Red Cross, and American Peace Corps Volunteer grants and support. Although there is a couple of playground equipment in the kindergarten yard, but they are old, rustic, and unsafe to be used by children. The community has requested playground equipment to provide a safe learning environment for our kindergarteners to be active and grow up healthy with happy memories of their childhood.
