Paravaqar (Պառավաքար) village is located in the Tavush region of Armenia, 178 kilometers away from Yerevan (3 ½ hour drive). The population in this village is 1525, with 510 households. The main source of income in this village is fruit, tobacco farming, and livestock cultivation. There is one main school (1-12) with 220 students and a kindergarten with 60 kindergartners. The kindergarten was renovated by Paros Foundation in 2019.  The Red Cross donated small playground equipment, which was not enough to accommodate 60 kindergarteners. The request for more playground pieces was submitted to FCN in the summer of 2019.  Because the kindergarten is very close to the border, playing in open fields are not safe for children. This playground will provide a safe and healthy atmosphere for these children to grow and have a happy childhood.
