Beds, Bedding, Furniture, & a Playground for Hovtashat Kindergarten

Hovtashat village is located in the Ararat province of Armenia, about 20 km from Yerevan. The population is 3,500 people and there are 1,009 farms across the village. The population is engaged in gardening, viticulture, fieldwork, vegetable growing, and fish farming.

The village has 1 school with 350 students in attendance, and 1 kindergarten with 120 students. The kindergarten was recently renovated to add another room, adding another 30 students to the mix, making the enrollment a grand total of 150 kindergartners. Our Beds, bedding, and furniture project aided in the opening of this new classroom and helped enrollment increase. Not to mention, the project added employment for 2 new staff members. A beautiful playground was also installed for the kindergartners to enjoy.
