Mrgavet Village Kindergarten Playground and Beds/Furniture

Mrgavet (Armenian:  Մրգավետ) is a village in the Ararat Province, located 22 KM from Yerevan. The village has an estimated 2,526 residents living in 658 households. The economy of the town is predominantly based on agriculture and fish farming.  

350 students attend the village’s sole school (1-12 grade), and the kindergarten is second home to 90 children.   

90 children are attending the Mrgavet kindergarten, but unfortunately the children didn’t have a safe outdoor play area. The community requested a playground for the kindergarten, replacing the old equipment with new and safe equipment. They also requested beds and bedding for 30 kindergarteners to be able to attend the school.
