Nor Artagers Kindergarten Beds, Furniture, & Sports Room

Nor Artagers is a village located in Armenia’s Armavir region, approximately 60 kilometers (about a one-hour drive) from Yerevan. The village has a population of 1,645 people across 640 households. Residents primarily relied on farming, agriculture, and livestock cultivation for their livelihoods.

The village had one school serving 133 students from grades 1 through 12, and a kindergarten that cared for 40 children. In 2021, a request was submitted to FCN for support to expand school capacity by providing 10 additional beds, bedding, and furniture, as well as establishing a sports room. Thanks to your sponsorship, the school was able to accommodate 10 more students and create a safe, healthy environment for physical activity for up to 50 students.

The bed, bedding, and furniture project was completed at a cost of $1,500, and the sports room project at $2,000.
