Artavaz Kindergarten Sportsroom

Artavaz is a small village in the Megradzor community of Kotayk province, located about 70 kilometers—or a one-hour drive—from Yerevan. With a population of 568 residents across 165 households, the village’s main sources of livelihood are livestock and farming. Artavaz has one K–12 school serving 69 students, and a single kindergarten with 27 children that operates 11 months of the year. Until recently, students had no playground or designated area to exercise and play. In 2022, a request was submitted to FCN to build a sports room, and the project has now been successfully completed. Thanks to this effort, children in Artavaz finally have a safe and joyful space to stay active and enjoy their childhood.
