Gay (Գայ) is a city in Armenia’s Armavir province, located 22 kilometers—or about a one-hour drive—from Yerevan. With a population of 3,920 across 1,230 households, it is the largest community in the surrounding area. The local economy is primarily based on farming. Gay has one K–12 school serving 542 students, as well as a kindergarten that operates year-round and accommodates 120 children.

Following recent renovations to the kindergarten, a request was submitted to FCN for beds, bedding, and furniture to equip four classrooms. Thanks to the support received, the project has been completed, ensuring that all children now have access to a fully furnished, safe, and welcoming learning environment. This initiative has created new opportunities for early education and helped lay the foundation for a brighter future for the youngest members of the Gay community.
