Haghartsin is a village in Armenia’s Tavush province, located 110 kilometers from Yerevan. With a population of 4,081 residents across 928 households, the village’s economy is primarily based on livestock breeding, with some involvement in agriculture. Haghartsin has one school serving 556 students and a kindergarten that operates year-round, providing care and early education to 80 children. The kindergarten is equipped with heating through a Baxi system.
While the kindergarten had a long list of needs—including renovations, classroom furniture, bedding, and essential equipment—one critical improvement has already been completed: the installation of a brand-new playground. Thanks to generous support, children now have a safe and engaging outdoor space where they can play, stay active, and enjoy their time at school. This new playground has brought joy to the kindergarteners and marked an important step toward improving early childhood experiences in Haghartsin.
