Khndzoresk (Armenian: Խնձորեսկ) is a village in the Goris Municipality of the Syunik Province in Armenia. It is located 240 kilometers (150 miles) of the capital Yerevan and is home to approximately 1,650 residents.
After the 2020 war, the village became a bordering village, and the population increased due to the forcibly relocated individuals from Artsakh. The village kindergarten required not only renovation but also expansion to accommodate the displaced kindergarten-aged students. The Paros Foundation took on the responsibility of renovating and expanding the kindergarten. Upon completion, the kindergarten doubled its capacity and be able to accommodate 100 children.
The municipality is requested furniture for 100 students, which FCN provided in 2024 with the help of a generous donor. The renovation and expansion not only addressed the issue of limited space but also created at least 5 local employment opportunities.
